To help local folks interested in raising chickens, and to meet the City of Plano’s education credit criteria required to obtain a permit, Wells Brothers will host a series of meetings. You can sign up below.
We’ll discuss the new City of Plano Chicken Ordinance. Bob Wucher from Purina Animal Nutrition will provide a Backyard Flock 101 lesson. From starting a flock to transitioning to layer feeds, and how to keep egg production high. If you’re currently raising chicks, or thinking about starting a flock, you’ll want to attend this informative meeting. We will have coupons and free chick treat samples to give away!
Note: Registration is required. There is a $10 fee to attend our Backyard Chicken Meeting. All paid attendees will receive a certificate that can be presented to the City of Plano that complies with the Education Credit needed to raise backyard chickens. *A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling.
