Backyard Flock Meeting October 2022

Sign up to attend our October Backyard Chicken Meeting and learn how to start, care and maintain your backyard flock. This meeting qualifies for the City of Plano’s education credit criteria required to obtain a permit to raise backyard chickens.

We’ll discuss the new City of Plano Chicken Ordinance. Bob Wucher from Purina Animal Nutrition will provide a Backyard Flock 101 lesson. From starting a backyard flock to transitioning to layer feeds,  and everything in-between. If you’re currently raising chicks, or thinking about starting a flock, you’ll want to attend this informative meeting. We will have coupons and free chick treat samples to give away!

Note: Registration is required. There is a $10 fee to attend our April Backyard Chicken Meeting. All paid attendees will receive a certificate that can be presented to the City of Plano that complies with the Education Credit needed to raise backyard chickens. *A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling.
